This building (pictured) by Lovelock Mitchell Architects is the new office building for Wales and West Housing Association in Flintshire, which has been voted ‘Best Non-Profit Organisation’ in Wales for three years consecutively.
The Slimwall Rainscreen system, produced by Architectural Profiles, comes in three bespoke colours, Prismatic White, Midnight Copper and Metallic Grey, which is said to give the building much of its aesthetic quality.
The system face is an Alucobond Plus mineral filled panel FR type. Architectural Profiles says it will produce rainscreens in individualised colours and materials and can also produce completely bespoke cladding profiles. The company said: “If an architect can imagine it, then we can usually produce it.”
