Chase High School in Westcliff-on-Sea is a year-long £4 million project, which comprises a new three-storey classroom block, complete with all services and external works.
This is in addition to the redevelopment of the school’s external playground and netball courts, as well as a full refurbishment of the science areas and main reception.
Providing Chase High School with a modern and fresh look, Guttercrest supplied feature fascias, which fitted both vertically and horizontally to the ‘fin’, and arrowhead Interlocking Secret fix Cladding to all soffits and vertical fin.
Ali-Fabs supplied Crest Copings to the perimeter of the building, whilst Windypods supplied 3mm thick bespoke feature window surrounds and infill cassette panels.
Southend MP, Sir David Amess, said: “The three-storey building will be a great asset to the school, but more importantly, it will provide a fresh environment and extra space in which our children can learn. I would like to commend the work of everyone involved in this project.”
The products mentioned above were manufactured at Guttercrest’s Shropshire-based headquarters, with 200,000 sq ft of space dedicated to manufacturing high quality aluminium products.
