Following the award of a contract by St Edward Homes, T R Freeman has recently completed work on The Royal Crescent phase at Stanmore Place in the London borough of Harrow.
In total, the Stanmore Place lakeside development will provide 798 new homes set in landscaped grounds with Bentley Priory Nature Reserve on its doorstep.
The roofing element of this phase of the development used the aluminium standing seam producer Kalzip throughout. It consisted of a single curved on plan, barrel vaulted and tapered roof with the fully insulated construction build-up from the primary steel frame. Gary Webb, pre-construction director, said: “The use of Kalzip materials not only compliments the striking design of the buildings, but provides a level of assurance given the high performance and low maintenance nature of the material.”
On this project, T R Freeman was responsible for the design and installation of the complete Kalzip system including the roof access hatches, balcony cladding, gutters, rainwater pipes, fascias and soffits.
Stanmore Place is said to be a stone’s throw from Canons Park tube station and ideal for those looking for a tranquil setting, within easy access to central London.
