The RCI Show will proceed as planned

Following recent announcements and subsequent event postponements, we wanted to clarify that the RCI Show is still going ahead as planned and remains aligned with the advice of the World Health Organization and the UK Public Health Authorities.

As organisers, we continue to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation carefully and will be guided by the facts and advice presented by the relevant authorities.

Our current status with regards to the COVID-19 virus remains that the health, safety and wellbeing of exhibitors, visitors and staff are our number one priority. We recommend that our exhibitors and visitors refer to the guidelines and protocols as suggested by the World Health Organization and the UK public health authorities.

We will follow local and national public health advice before and during the event as well as working with our event delivery partners to provide:

• Public health messaging displayed and shared before and during event
• Strengthened hygiene, sanitation, availability of disinfectants in number of locations at the show
• Hand sanitiser for speakers to use before and after microphone use
• Cleaning of microphones with disinfectant wipes between sessions
• Cleaning all other handheld AV equipment before and after use

Visitors and exhibitors are also advised to carry a personal supply of hand sanitiser, tissues and wipes in and outside the event.

If the situation worsens or official guidance changes and we are forced to cancel or delay the event on the grounds of safety, then we will do so without hesitation.
