The National Insulation Association (NIA) has now opened up membership for both Green Deal assessors (GDAs) and Green Deal assessor organisations (GDAOs) following a growth in the number of those interested in joining the association.
The Association says that membership will provide both GDAs and GDAOs with a number of benefits, such as access to information, advice and guidance on Green Deal – including the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund – and the Energy Company Obligation (ECO). There will also be opportunities to network and develop relationships with other NIA members, including Green Deal installers and providers, as well offering a forum to raise any issues or concerns with current schemes. These can then be voiced by the NIA at both a Government and industry-wide level.
Affiliate membership is available at an annual cost of œ309 + VAT, and will allow members to attend NIA local briefings and its annual conference, which includes a gala dinner.
