AccuRoof launches new ARRC scheme

AccuRoof, part of SIG Roofing, has introduced a new initiative called the AccuRoof Roofing Contractor (ARRC) scheme for its contractor customers.

The programme allows members to gain access to products, tiered training and technical advice.

AccuRoof said that a significant portion of its business comes from contractor customers. Its team offers advice to these customers on a wide range of roofing projects, whether commercial or residential, large or small. It’s this segment of the business that will benefit from the new ARRC scheme, a statement said.

AccuRoof has encouraged roofing contractors of all sizes to reach out directly or to contact their local SIG Roofing branch to join the scheme.

The goal of the scheme is to provide ongoing technical training to upskill roofing contractors in the constantly evolving range of roofing products and techniques, it noted, as well as to increase their awareness of relevant compliance requirements.

The AccuRoof team provides ARRC members with technical support, onsite assistance and training on new products and techniques through six regional training centres across the UK. Its roofing training covers various topics, including liquid systems, single ply, hot melt applications, and green and blue roofing products.

Currently, training is free of charge for members of the ARRC scheme. As contractors complete more training and demonstrate their broadening skills through audits, they can achieve bronze, silver, gold, or platinum status, reflecting their increasing levels of expertise. At each stage, digital certification is awarded to recognise their accomplishments.
