Architectural Profiles (APL) says its recent investment in new manufacturing facilities demonstrates its confidence in the future.
The company says it began planning for growth when the recession started to show signs of easing in mid 2014. In the spring of 2015, APL took on the huge vacated Cortauld’s factory in North Wales to give itself a state of the art production facility for its metal profiles and rainscreen systems.
The company said: “This is a very exciting move. We have been planning this for a number of years and now the time is right for a major expansion of our business to meet the growing demands of today’s construction market, both in new build and refurbishment. We are also planning the introduction of several new and exciting profile designs with new and exciting applications.”
The enormous new facility has already begun pressing, cutting and roll-forming almost all of APL’s portfolio of wall and roof profiles and by the end of 2015, the entire production will have been relocated to Flint.
