Apollo Roofing is joining in the Living Wage Week celebrations (15-21 November) by reinforcing its appreciation for its workforce after being awarded its accreditation by the Living Wage Foundation in June.

At Apollo’s half-year business briefing event yesterday [16 November], all employees enjoyed Living Wage themed cakes and refreshments and eight colleagues were presented with attendance bonus awards to the value of £2,500 for 100% attendance for a full year and £1,000 for 100% attendance for the previous quarter.

Ian Cornelius, managing director at Apollo, said: “Apollo has always maintained that it’s employees are its biggest asset. We are proud to be a Living Wage accredited business and genuinely appreciate all our colleagues and the difference they make to our business daily.

“It was encouraging to see that 49% of our workforce qualified to be in the annual attendance bonus draw and 75% in the quarterly which I hope confirms that they are happy in their roles and enjoy being part of the Apollo family.”
