Apollo, the liquid adhesive, sealant coating and primer manufacturer, is celebrating being a winner at this year’s Tamworth Business and Community Awards.
The family-owned business was presented with the Excellence in Manufacturing and Engineering Award at the ceremony on October 4 at Statfold Railway Museum.
Now in its fifth year, the Awards celebrate all that is great about Tamworth, from businesses to residents and recognise those who have helped Tamworth to establish itself as a great town to do business and to live.
Apollo chairman, Jon Saunders, attended the event alongside warehouse, production and engineering colleagues, and was proud of his team for winning the award. He said: “Winning the award is great news for Apollo. We’ve been in business in Tamworth since 1972 and have always strived to be the best at what we do. But we can’t do this without a brilliant team of colleagues.
“Each and everyone one of our 190 employees have played their part in winning this award, and I’m incredibly proud that Apollo has been recognised for leading the way in terms of industry innovation and manufacturing techniques.”
