Avonside Group has announced the acquisition of Worcester-based Whites Plumbing Services for an undisclosed sum.
A long-established presence within the Midlands region, Whites Plumbing Services was founded and built up under the management of Nigel and Sue White, and has established an outstanding reputation for sector leading on-site delivery and service.
In recent years, Chris White, who will continue as managing director, has driven the business to greater heights, and the acquisition allows for a further stage of growth.
The move marks a significant stage in Avonside’s development strategy, positioning the Group as a multi-discipline service provider to the UK housebuilding sector.
Tony Burke, executive chairman of Avonside Group, said: “Whites Plumbing Services represent the absolute ideal for us in terms of our initial move into the plumbing and heating sector. It is an extremely well organised operation that can offer us a platform as we seek to expand our presence in this adjacent trade.”

Whites Plumbing Services operates across the Midlands and south west region and provides plumbing and heating services to primary housebuilders.
