The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has appointed Mike Tattam as its commercial director with effect from 1 April 2023 after joining the Federation last August in an interim capacity to recruit and develop a new regional team and help grow memberships while enhancing existing ones.
Mike’s career spans over 35 years working with leading manufacturer brands in senior commercial roles. He brings a wealth of experience across heavyside and lightside sectors, and with national and independent merchants, specialist stockists and buying groups.
Commenting on his appointment, John Newcomb, CEO of the BMF, said: “I am extremely pleased that Mike is joining the team on a permanent basis. He has integrated well into the BMF family since joining us in an interim role last summer and now becomes a valuable member of the senior management team.”
