The British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) has launched its PPE Saves campaign.
As part of the campaign, BSIF has called on workers across the UK to share their real-life experiences of how Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has saved them from serious injury or death.
The federation stated that PPE plays a crucial role in protecting workers from life-altering injuries and fatalities. It safeguards the body’s most vulnerable areas, including the head, eyes, face, hearing, lungs, hands and feet.
By sharing real-life experiences, BSIF said it aims to highlight the lifesaving power of PPE to encourage PPE compliance, promote a stronger safety culture and ultimately prevent future accidents.
