Cupa Pizarras has introduced a 100-year guarantee on all of its natural slate products for the UK market.
The company said it controls every stage of the process, from geological assessment and extraction through to processing and quality control. Cupa Pizarras operates its own quarries and employs its own team of geologists.
According to a company statement, the 100-year guarantee further strengthens the credentials of CUPA 12 and Heavy 3. Both products are supported by independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Cupa Pizarras said this provides transparent environmental data to support informed specification decisions and helps projects meet increasingly demanding sustainability requirements.
Natural slate remains one of the most durable roofing materials available, it noted, with a proven lifespan that can exceed a century when correctly specified and installed.
