Onduline Building Products has appointed John Alderman as national specification manager.
John has more than 30 years of construction and roofing industry experience. He has held roofing sales and specification roles with organisations such as Marley, SIG Roofing and Surespan.
He has worked with Onduline products throughout his career. The company said John was already familiar with the manufacturer’s portfolio, particularly its ISOLINE LOW LINE sub-roof system for low-pitch roofing applications.
In his new role, John will focus on expanding Onduline’s specification pipeline by strengthening relationships with architects, specifiers, roofing contractors and tile manufacturers. Working closely with the wider team, Onduline noted that he will help convert more specifications into completed projects while supporting the continued market growth of ISOLINE LOW LINE and Onduline’s heritage refurbishment portfolio.
John said: “I’ve known Onduline and its products for many years, so when the opportunity came up to join the business it was one, I was excited to pursue. The company has built an outstanding reputation, particularly in the low-pitch roofing market, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to grow our specification activity, develop new relationships and help deliver more projects across the UK.”
Paul Duffy, managing director at Onduline Building Products, added: “John’s extensive experience across specification, sales and project delivery makes him a fantastic addition to the team. He has an excellent understanding of the specification process and the relationships needed to turn opportunities into successful projects.
“As we continue to invest in growing our specification business, expanding our heritage portfolio and increasing the reach of ISOLINE LOW LINE, John’s knowledge and expertise will play an important role in achieving those ambitions.”
