A group of construction brands under the Etex umbrella are to present a coordinated showcase at UKREiiF 2025, which is set to take place from 20 to 22 May at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
According to a statement, the event has become a key platform for investment-focused conversations around housing delivery, net zero targets and the evolving regulatory landscape.
The statement added that the Etex brands will demonstrate how a fully integrated approach to the building envelope can help meet the construction industry’s twin priorities of safety and sustainability.
Etex said it will show how this works in practice, creating a full-scale display of an internal and external wall system with products that are designed to perform together under real-world conditions.
The display will include a Remagin Steel Frame System, Siniat Weather Defence sheathing and internal drywall systems, EQUITONE and Cedral fibre cement cladding, URSA rainscreen insulation, Superglass internal insulation, a Promat passive fire protection system and FSi Promat fire stopping and cavity barriers.
This will be supported by a headline speech in the Etex pavilion from Nigel Morrey, technical director of Promat and Siniat. He will discuss how Etex can support in meeting the requirements of the Building Safety Act.
The Etex pavilion host will talk on the benefits of specifying fibre cement cladding in commercial and residential projects. Remagin will be joined by McCarthy Stone alongside Homes England to discuss supply challenges within the later living sector.
Remagin will also host a talk looking at the cross-sector cost efficiencies and build speed of using light gauge steel frames. Superglass will speak on sustainability, discussing the impact of glass mineral wool insulation on operational and embodied carbon in the drive towards net zero.
Nigel said: “The Building Safety Act is reshaping the construction landscape to ensure buildings are well designed and built with life critical safety in mind from the very earliest point. As we work to reduce carbon levels in the built environment, it remains vital that fire and structural safety also remains a priority.
“There’s a growing need for joined-up thinking and systems that don’t just comply on paper, but are properly tested, coordinated and supported from specification through to installation. A collaborative approach will be the way forward in showing how best practice building design – and construction – must look to achieve the highest standards.
“In bringing the Etex brands together and discussing the tested solutions that we can offer across different disciplines of the construction sector we aim to highlight that an all-encompassing, joined up approach to safety is the best way to support both the Building Safety Act and more sustainable building design.”
Remagin will also be hosting an exclusive drinks reception in the Etex pavilion. The drinks reception is in collaboration with the Offsite Alliance.
Crisis, Remagin’s charity partner, will also highlight its work to build a new model to drive its mission to end homelessness.
