IKO Polymeric is celebrating its ten-year anniversary in 2015 following a decade of growth for the single ply manufacturer.
IKO formed the division in 2005 specifically to develop its single ply business. Based in Clay Cross, Chesterfield, it initially only focused on its Spectraplan TPE roofing membrane, but has since grown into a ‘one-stop-shop’ for high-performance waterproofing solutions, with a wide range of single ply roofing.
Anthony Carlyle, managing director of IKO Polymeric, said: “We’re extremely proud of our success in the last ten years. From a division of three people when it first opened, we now employ more than 80! Clay Cross is running at full capacity producing millions of metres of membrane every year. We’re continuing to invest and plan to increase capacity in 2016. We look forward with confidence to the next ten years!”
