The Institute of Roofing (IoR) says it hosted a successful IoR Midlands regional meeting on October 16 at Polyglass GB. SPV managing director, Howard Evans, acted as chair and commercial director, Kate Whatley acted as vice chair.
With over 60 attendees, the meeting featured Paul Harper of the Midlands Roof Training Group who gave an update on current courses and the upcoming AGM. This was followed by Nigel Brittle of Touchpoint who advised members regarding the new IoR members benefits package.
The meeting also featured Gary Walpole of The NFRC who introduced its Safe2Torch campaign, followed by a short presentation and practical demonstration by Polyglass GB on how it is supporting this campaign.
