The M&J Group has raised over £5,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust after a team from the company completed a sponsored half marathon in aid of the charity.
The group, which included chief executive Peter Henrickson, raised the cash through a series of donations and received a thank you letter from the charity revealing that the scale of the donation prompted ‘tears and hugs in the office’.
The M& J Group has been a long time supporter and fundraiser for the Teenage Cancer Trust, with the latest sum of more than £5,000 being the most recent in a number of donations made over years.
Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK, requiring expert treatment and support from this moment on. The Teenage Cancer Trust is dedicated to supplying this level of support, and can be supported here.
