Eltherington has announced that it is to make a multi-million pound investment in a new manufacturing and office facility on Hedon Road in Hull.
The decision to relocate follows continued expansion of the business, which has seen Eltherington outgrow its existing 5.5 acre site on Dansom Lane South. The company will move to the new 11 acre site in the near future following a phase of comprehensive redevelopment work.
Antony Eltherington, group managing director, said: “After what has been and continues to be an exciting and exceptionally busy period for the whole of the Eltherington Group, we have taken the decision to purchase a much larger, modern site on Hedon Road which gives us significant scope for growth for the next period of our business.
“Investing in a site that is double the size of our existing is an indication of just how much we have grown over the last few years. We are continually developing new systems and solutions which, combined with our exceptional team of staff, means we have outgrown our existing premises.”
The new purpose-built manufacturing spaces will be configured to allow production of new products developed by Eltherington after working closely with its customers.
Mr. Eltherington added: “Eltherington has been manufacturing high quality solutions in Hull for over 50 years. Moving to the new site on Hedon Road will provide us with an opportunity to upgrade and modernise a number of our production processes, which will increase our overall efficiency and capacity even further.”
