Independent builders’ merchant MKM Building Supplies has purchased Spey Valley Timber & Builders Merchants for an undisclosed sum. This follows a period of growth in Scotland for the supplier, bringing its Scottish network to 17 branches.
The acquisition ensures customers throughout Aviemore and the wider Scottish Highlands, which Spey Valley Timber & Builders Merchants has been operating in since the 1980s, still have access to an independent merchant, bolstered by MKM’s product range.
