The company, which is headquartered in Dublin and has bases in London and Glasgow, is backing the LRWA’s third event, which will take place on Wednesday, November 6 at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool’s Stanley Dock.

“In a short space of time, the LRWA awards have made a significant impact on our industry, showcasing the versatility of liquids, the skilled people that work in flat roofing, and exemplar projects.”

The LRWA Awards and Gala Dinner was launched in 2017 and has gone from strength to strength. Around 230 people from across the liquid roofing and waterproofing sector attended last year’s event, including contractors, manufacturers and suppliers.

Sarah Spink, CEO of the LRWA, added: “We’re very grateful to Moy Materials and our other supporters for helping us to run the awards for the third year in a row, especially as this year’s event will coincide with the LRWA’s 40th anniversary.

“We’re returning to the Titanic Hotel to ensure we can accommodate the growing number of people choosing to enter and attend the awards. We were really impressed by the quality of the entries in 2018, which reflected our members’ high standards of workmanship and the diversity of liquid projects. We are confident that we can raise the bar even higher in 2019 and look forward to another successful event.”

The award categories for 2019 will remain the same including ‘Liquid Roofing Project of the Year over 1000m2’, ‘Liquid Roofing Project of the Year under 1000m2’, ‘Liquid Waterproofing Project of the Year, ‘Liquid Roofing Project of the Year in a Buried Application,’ ‘Trainer of the Year’ and ‘Student of the Year.’
