System Building Products, a new business brand that specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of internal and external solutions to the construction industry, has been created to embrace the resurgence in demand for complete and integrated building systems.

“Cost-effective functionality combined with high performance, safety and aesthetics are all determined by the integration of components into a properly designed system,” said John Cowley, chief executive of the newly-founded operation. “That’s why we’ve brought a number of our businesses together into a single entity.”

The creation of System Building Products unites some well-known and construction manufacturing names including Omnis – roofing and cladding manufacturer.

“The formation of the new business represents the next stage in our evolution to becoming a complete system provider,” said John Cowley. “Increasingly, the trend in the construction industry is away from individual components and towards well-designed, properly integrated systems which are appropriately installed. By bringing our businesses together we are evolving to meet that demand.”

As part of an ongoing plan, the company is continually investing in manufacturing and operations, as well as the development of innovative products and services. It will also be offering a series of new warranty schemes, including an insurance-backed product which will cover entire systems rather than individual components.

The businesses which have come together to form System Building Products are said to have a long history of landmark projects. These include: roofing systems for Wembley Stadium and the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, renovation of the fourth span of Paddington Station’s roof and rainscreen cladding, together with framing for Ferrari’s showroom in Egham.
