New roofing store celebrates opening in Tonbridge with fundraising for air ambulance

Chandlers Roofing Supplies have opened a new store in the heart of Tonbridge, at Tonbridge Retail Park. Local managers Gary Ambrose and Kieron Plunkett are hosting a week of celebrations in July and hope to raise money for Kent Air Ambulance.

Staffed by a team that has a combined total of 60 years’ experience in roofing sales, the new 3,000sq ft branch is stocked with flat, pitched and industrial roofing products.

Gary Ambrose, originally from Maidstone, and Kieron Plunkett, from Tunbridge Wells, officially opened the Chandlers Roofing Supplies store in June.

Gary said: “I feel we know pretty much everything there is to know about roofing and what local roofers want. As I’ve always been in the roofing trade, opening this new roofing merchants is very exciting. I’m really looking forward to welcoming the roofers and builders of Tonbridge.”

Chandlers Roofing Supplies in Tonbridge is providing free donuts and coffee in complimentary reusable coffee mugs at the branch for a week, starting July 15, 2019 with donations going to the Kent Air Ambulance.
