National Timber Systems (NTS) has appointed Richard Jarvis to the newly created role of commercial and operations director.
Richard joined the division of National Timber Group in 2019 as operations director with 30 years’ experience in the timber industry across manufacturing, sales, design and management.
At NTS he has led a number of critical projects including the complete relocation of the Bristol site, and the significant investment and development of the business’ manufacturing operations and facilities across all four sites.
Commenting on his appointment, Richard said: “I am especially proud to be taking on this new role as it’s an exciting time to be specialists in the industry.
“We’re working with housebuilders and contractors nationally who understand the benefits of off-site manufactured engineered timber products, such as roof and floor cassettes, which are contributing to shorter build times with less time spent working at height.”
