Polyroof expands HQ

image001Construction is underway at Polyroof’s headquarters in Flint, North Wales, to create an extension that will provide new office space for the growing workforce.

Polyroof technical services department has been the epicentre of the company’s growth and has recently been restructured, with Steve Henshaw appointed as technical director to accommodate the increased demand within the specification market.

As part of the first phase of the extension works, the newly available space within the existing building is being used to house an additional manufacturing plant.

Polyroof says the appeal of using a fully UK-based developer and manufacturer, with the associated low environmental impact and benefits to the national economy, has led to a spiked increase in demand of its liquid systems over recent years.

Upon completion of the extension due later this year, phase two will commence, which will see the old administration and HR being converted into new laboratories.

Polyroof’s research and development team, which was recognised by national Innovation Awards, continues to be at the forefront of the company’s investment strategies.
