Russell Roof Tiles heads to Villa Park for charity football match

Russell Roof Tiles (RRT) preparing for its big charity football match at Villa Park Stadium on Friday 27 May.

Two squads of 17 including 16 players from RRT’s Burton and Lochmaben sites, as well as suppliers and customers have accepted the invitation, are returning to the pitch with the ambition to raise £4,000 for local charities and causes as part of their Give 4 Good Charity Scheme.

All donations received from the players will be added to the company’s fundraising project, Give 4 Good, which aims to raise a huge £50,000 in 2022, to provide financial support to 11 charities and organisations based close to its two sites.

The RRT charity football matches have proven popular fundraising events after the enormous success of the last match at the FA’s National Football Centre at St George’s Park and so has made a return with the intentions of helping the business reach its ambitious target by the end of the year.

Andrew Hayward, Managing Director of Russell Roof Tiles added: “We’ve hosted charity matches before so we know they are always a huge success. All donations from the match will help towards reaching our £50k and in the long term help us to continue to support communities local to our sites.”
