Selco Builders Warehouse staged a charity double header to raise more than £13,500 in the space of 48 hours.
The builders merchant hosted its annual golf day, pitting Selco colleagues against suppliers at West Midlands Golf Club.
Just two days later, members of the marketing team put their best foot forward by participating in the Cotswold Way Challenge.
The combined events raised £13,700 for Selco’s nominated charity, Global’s Make Some Noise, the official charity of Global, the Media and Entertainment group, which improves the lives of disadvantaged people by supporting small charities across the UK.
A keenly contested golf day saw the suppliers edge out the Selco team in a fourball betterball stableford format, raising £12,000.
The Cotswolds Way Challenge saw around a dozen members of Selco’s marketing team raise £1,700.
