SIG has announced that it has re-joined the Construction Products Association (CPA), with represents and champions construction product manufacturers and suppliers across the UK, providing its members with advice on government policies and regulations and driving consensus on major issues impacting the construction industry.
Philip Johns, managing director at SIG UK, said: “We are delighted to once again be a member of the CPA. In the current climate, we find ourselves in challenging times including new legislative changes and adopting a new norm in working. Our customers need practical advice on how they can adhere to the changes and still run profitable businesses. There’s been much industry talk about changes at policy level, and at SIG we support and welcome practical solutions on how these polices can be effectively implemented.”
Peter Caplehorn, chief executive of the CPA, added: “I’m delighted to welcome SIG UK group back into the CPA membership. As distributors of construction products from a broad range of manufacturers, their customers are the backbone of the UK construction industry. Businesses like SIG are critical for our association, providing us with crucial insights from across the construction product manufacturing supply chain and enabling us to deliver value-led change for our industry.”
