SIG Roofing has announced the acquisition of SM Roofing Supplies for an undisclosed sum.
Established in 1993, SM Roofing Supplies employs 11 staff and operates from a site in Pelsall, Walsall. It has grown to become one of the region’s foremost suppliers of roofing materials to builders’ merchants, roofing merchants, roofing contractors and the general public.
Under the ownership of SIG Roofing, SM Roofing Supplies will continue to trade under its existing brand, but with the full backing of SIG Roofing’s national supply network.
News of the acquisition comes at a pivotal time for SIG Roofing, as the business continues to roll-out ambitious plans to strengthen its offering to customers nationwide. The acquisition of SM Roofing Supplies fills a gap in SIG Roofing’s coverage in the West Midlands, expanding its service capabilities to roofing contractors across the region.
