SPV is featured in the 2017 Parliamentary Review

Roofing, cladding and building refurbishment specialists, SPV Group has been featured in the Construction & Engineering Edition of this year’s Parliamentary Review Publication.

The Parliamentary Review is an annual initiative that is released to coincide with the beginning of the Parliamentary year.

The publication is said to showcase best practice as a learning tool to the public and private sector for policymakers, senior officials and leaders in the UK manufacturing, construction and engineering sectors. The main aims of the Review are said to be to demonstrate how organisations / individuals have become outstanding leaders in their field and how they have responded to challenges within their industry, sharing best practice as a template for reform.
SPV MD Howard Evans says he was delighted to attend the Parliamentary Review Gala 2017 on September 13. The event was held at the Terrace Pavilion of The Houses of Parliament and celebrated the launch of the publication.

Howard commented: “This was a thoroughly enjoyable and inspiring event with the opportunity for excellent networking. It offered an excellent insight into Parliament and highlighted that as an industry we need to integrate closely with the Politicians and policymakers to ensure our views are heard. It was great to see the roofing sector represented at such a high profile event.”

The 2017 Construction & Engineering Edition is sent out to over 35,000 leading policymakers including MPs, Peers at the House of Lords, the Associate Parliamentary Manufacturing Group, chief executives and directors at leading organisations within manufacturing, engineering and construction, along with other individuals who hold weight in the sector.
