Status of supply and availability during coronavirus crisis

The National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) is asking its supplier members to provide the roofing industry with updated information about the impact of conronavirus on stock availability, lead times, changes to delivery procedures, and advice for product on-sites that are being closed etc.

For those who need specific information regarding a product supply that is not covered on the manufacturer’s advice page, let the NFRC know by clicking here, and the Federation will try and get the information updated.

For many suppliers and merchants, it is increasingly “business as usual”. Therefore, the NFRC has introduced a ‘traffic light’ system to indicate their current trading status:

RED = Closed
​AMBER = Partially open (e.g. not all outlets or limited collection/delivery options)
GREEN = Open for business.

You can also use the NFRC’s roofing materials search facility for contact details of any companies who have not provided the Federation with specific COVID-19 information, and hence are not listed.

In addition to the specific information from merchants who are listed on the NFRC website, the Builders Merchants Federation is maintaining a list of their merchant members who are currently open or shut during the crisis.

Please note the NFRC is reliant on the information it receives from its supplier members who update their trading status changes.
