Sunsquare has claimed two awards, including the top honour, in the East Anglian Business Awards 2016.

The Bury St Edmunds-based skylights and rooflights supplier scooped the most prestigious accolade of the night at the EADT awards, Business of the Year, as well as the accolade for Medium Business.

The company says it has gone from strength to strength in recent years, recently becoming the rooflight industry’s first manufacturer to have secured the BSI Kitemark for its entire product range.

Mark Lambert, sales director at Sunsquare, commented: “Everyone at Sunsquare is absolutely thrilled to have received such recognition among our peers. The Business of the Year award feels like the culmination of many months of effort internally to ensure our business operates with the utmost efficiency, whilst maintaining a commitment to delivering world-leading flat roof skylights across the country and beyond.

“Aside from our ground-breaking BSI Kitemark – setting a new benchmark for rooflight safety and performance – we’ve also worked with the BSI to secure accreditation for the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard – developed for businesses with sustainability at the core of their day-to-day operations.
