A £500k investment has helped insulation manufacturer SuperFOIL achieve an eight-fold increase in production capacity with the funds being used to acquire custom-made machinery that’s allowed the business to bring all its manufacturing in-house.
Previously, the company’s manual line could produce 250 rolls of multifoil a week. Now with its new setup, it can produce 400 rolls a day.
As a result, it’s better able to meet growing demand for its breathable multifoil insulation products, following record sales to brands such as Travis Perkins, Aldi and Screwfix.

“Our most recent investment is just the latest step in that process.
“As we aim to scale-up our production capabilities, the new technology will help us manufacture raw materials in the UK, and implement strict standards for in-house quality control, waste management, and emission reduction.
