TaperedPlus signs up to Building a Safer Future Charter

TaperedPlus has signed up to the Building a Safer Future Charter, joining other signatories in the initiative which aims to promote a culture of safety and proactive change within the built environment.

The Charter, developed in response to Dame Judith Hackitt’s Building a Safer Future Review following the Grenfell Tower tragedy, can be adopted by any organisation involved in the construction, design, and management of buildings of any height.

By signing it, TaperedPlus commits to five key principles designed to drive culture change and improve building safety – collaboration, transparency, integrity, community and communication.

This commitment aligns with TaperedPlus’ recent achievement of the globally recognised B Corp accreditation.

Aman Chahal, CEO of TaperedPlus, said: “Safety is paramount in our industry. By signing the Building a Safer Future Charter, we are not only committing to making tangible improvements to our practices but also leading by example in promoting a culture of safety.

“Our B Corp accreditation coupled with our dedication to transparency, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement will help us ensure that safety remains top of the agenda.”
