Wetherby Building Systems has scooped the Most Innovative Supplier award at this year’s Housing Innovation awards.
Beating tough competition from industry favourites such as Wolseley, Sovini and Hilti, Wetherby says it was its commitment to delivering social housing projects across the UK that enabled it to come out on top.
The company says the judges were also impressed with its approach to working with its customers, managing supply needs, helping customers to reduce their carbon footprint, as well as the range of innovative products and services the supplier provides.
The annual awards, which were announced at the ceremony on Wednesday, February 8, are designed to celebrate pioneering spirit and recognise inventive and original schemes and services in the social housing sector.
Commenting on the award win, Bob Deane, managing director of Wetherby Building Systems, said: “We have been supplying our systems to the social housing sector for almost 20 years and this award is testament to the experience, knowledge and hard work of the entire team.
“We always strive to be much more than just a supplier and form true partnerships with our customers, offering them support at every stage of a project. It is this approach that has led to many long-standing relationships and we are looking forward to continuing to deliver effective social housing projects for our clients.”
