Due to the continued growth of new business opportunities in Scotland, Alumasc Facades has appointed Gerry McGhee to the role of area sales manager for new build.
To date, Mr McGhee has over 30 years experience in the construction industry having started his career as a draftsman, moving up through architectural and specification roles.
For the last 13 years he has worked in the EWI market and says he is confident that his background gives him the perfect foundation on which to build new relationships for Alumasc.
Speaking of his new appointment, Mr McGhee commented: “Everyone knows that Alumasc is enjoying continued success in the housing refurb market, but we are also experiencing ongoing growth in the housebuilding, health, and education sectors.
“I believe that my combined architectural, specification and sales skillset, is perfectly placed to benefit Alumasc clients across all sectors.”
Mr McGhee will be focussing largely on the increased specification of the new Alumasc Ventilated System (AVS) system to the new build timber frame sector.
Lorraine Dunsire, commercial director for Alumasc Facades, commented: “The introduction of Gerry into our team in Scotland is indicative of the strong position currently being experienced by Alumasc in the facades sector and of our commitment to the ongoing provision of the highest quality products and customer service in the industry.
All Alumasc EWI systems are BBA approved, fully warranted and offer a range of design and specification options available across many building types.
