Avonside Group has announced senior level boardroom changes to support further dynamic growth.
Founder Tony Burke takes up the role as executive chairman in a move, which will allow the company to develop its corporate focus further and, in turn, accelerate the growth story.
Additionally, Eddie Stanton takes up the position of chief executive officer, and assumes responsibility for the finance, operational and commercial functions of the group. These changes became effective on November 5, 2019.
Commenting on the boardroom changes, Tony, said: “The change allows us to cement recent growth and positions Avonside Group to accelerate further as we move to widen our operational capability for our valued client base.
“The team is well equipped to drive the key areas of the business forward at board as well as branch level. The business is well placed to meet the challenges that lie ahead, whilst taking full advantage of numerous opportunities presented within the house-building sector.”
As part of the leadership team, Andrew Morley will continue to head up the operational team in his role as chief operations officer. In addition, Simon Smith will take up the new position as group commercial director, responsible for sales and procurement. This complements the recent appointment of Raj Bhogaita as chief financial officer. Kyle Burke continues his role as systems and integrations director, as does Keith Kershaw in his role as acquisitions director.
