Clifton Smyth and Danny Hampshire, both of whom held prior positions at McMullen, have been appointed to the roles of pre-construction director and commercial director respectively. Bringing with them a wealth of construction industry experience, the duo will play a vital role in driving McMullen’s efforts to be the leading UK-based specialist contractor.
Clifton Smyth joins McMullen Facades as pre-construction manager having previously held senior management and consulting roles with contractors in both the UK and overseas. Since joining, Clifton has been instrumental in developing the company’s presence in the London residential and commercial markets. In his new directorial role he will head up McMullen’s pre-construction team and support clients at pre-construction stage.
Danny Hampshire has over twenty years’ experience in the specialist glass façade sector and has been promoted from commercial manager. After joining the McMullen team, Danny has been heavily involved in the management and delivery of a number of major façade contracts including the Central Square commercial development in West Yorkshire and the 23-story Elephant Road high-rise residential scheme in London.
