Bracknell Roofing has continued to add to its management team with the appointment of a new national project manager.
Peter Edwards, who has more than 25 years of experience in the roofing industry, will take responsibility for the procurement and management of non-private housing construction projects, as well as assisting with related business improvement initiatives, including recruitment, skills development, and health and safety.
In particular, Mr. Edwards will lead Bracknell Roofing’s planned expansion and development within non-housing markets such as the defence, health, commercial and education sectors. He will project manage the process from the earliest customer engagement, through initial roofing design, planning, site installation and project sign off.
Prior to joining Bracknell Roofing, Peter was project manager at Crendon Roofing Services, where he was responsible for the delivery of complete roof solutions. Before joining Crendon, he was managing director of his own roofing business for ten years.
Simon Smith, managing director at Bracknell Roofing, said:
“We welcome Peter to the team. He brings with him a wealth of experience which we hope will prove really helpful in helping us to achieve our objectives. With a clear ambition to ensure all projects are installed ?right first time’ and deliver the highest levels of customer service, a key part of Peter’s role will be focused on helping to lead the team to ensure this happens each and every time.”
The addition of Mr. Edwards follows the appointment of three new members to Bracknell Roofing’s senior management team, intended to support the expansion of its national network of branches.
