DANOSA has announced the recent promotion of Shaun Lotay from head of technical to technical director.
DANOSA’s commercial director, Steve Downey, said: “Having started working with Shaun just over six years ago I am absolutely delighted for him. His new position within the company is testament to the time, effort and 100% dedication Shaun has shown the business, his colleagues as well as our clients. I can honestly say I’ve never met such an enthusiastic individual with such a wide skill set. Over the years, Shaun has been instrumental in the growth of our business by providing an outstanding contribution, not only from a technical point of view, but also a marketing perspective which has supported the sales team in every aspect of their daily roles.”
James Buckley, DANOSA’s assistant managing director, added: “He should be proud of his achievements within the company but also those within the industry where he is also ever-present, working for the good of the roofing industry as a whole. The new role within DANOSA will also expand his influence to the DANOSA group as a whole with the aim of ensuring best practice and ideas are shared globally for the benefit of all. Well done Shaun!”
Shaun’s achievements to date include being on the SPRA Technical Committee, as well as being chair of the SPRA Design Guide 2016, group member of the SPRA Homeowners Guide, a member of the NFRC Reinforced Bitumen Membrane Technical Committee and also NFRC Joint Flat Roofing Technical Committee.
