Enphase Energy has appointed Peter van Berkel as general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), where he will focus on building scale into Enphase’s EMEA business
Mr. van Berkel joins Enphase with more than 20 years of experience at Philips Electronics, where he was responsible for global product strategy and planning, marketing, sales and account management. During his tenure at Philips, Peter held various executive roles, including general manager of the light systems business in China, and vice president and market leader for Philips Lighting in Russia.

He brings to the company many years of executive experience managing international teams, along with leadership roles in sales, marketing, product management, and P&L management. With a new general manager in EMEA, we continue to strengthen our team and deepen our talent for global expansion.”

The company’s EMEA headquarters are located in Lyon, France, with offices in Milton Keynes and Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
