Flex-R has appointed its third regional specification manager to complete a newly created team to support architects and specifiers across the country on roofing projects.

Joining the High Wycombe-based company, Moses Adelowokan’s appointment takes the number of employees at the company to 30.

Moses originally trained as an architect, achieving his BSc, but saw more opportunities for progression in the roofing industry more than a decade ago – initially working as a design engineer before becoming a technical manager.

He is delighted to have joined Flex-R at a time when the company is experiencing strong growth and sees the breadth of the opportunity to work alongside specifiers, architects, facilities management companies and architectural technologists on a range of projects.

Commenting on his new role, Moses said: “It’s a great time to be joining Flex-R because there’s a great opportunity to increase the amount of projects where its range of specialist products, such as RubberBond, Sure-Weld, Enduris and LQD-R, are specified.

“My experience and background enable me to fully understand what specifiers and architects want, which makes it much easier to work closely with them to suggest a range of products that come with a proven track record.”

Flex-R’s national sales manager, Danny Cole, has welcomed Moses’s appointment, as it completes the specification team – following the appointments of Michael Iddenden-Smith, who covers the south of England, and Simon Blackham, who covers central England.

“Moses’s experience, particularly his architectural background, will be invaluable for our business as we look to strengthen our position as a supplier for the flat roofing market,” said Danny.

“The creation of a series of regional specification manager roles across the country will fulfil two key objectives for the business: supporting our trained specialist registered installers (who may need additional resources to tender for projects where a greater level of specification may be required) and building links with specifiers and architects to get our products specified for forthcoming projects – which, in turn, will provide a pipeline of tenders for our specialist registered installers.”

Moses will cover the north of England and be based at the company’s new office, training hub and warehouse facility that opened in Huddersfield earlier this year.
