Permaroof has made a strategic appointment to its sales team in line with its ambitious expansion plans – with the firm also looking to fill a further four vacancies due to its continued growth.

Terry O’Hare, who has more than 25 years’ experience in sales, with around 16 years being within the roofline and fenestration industry, has joined Permaroof as regional sales manager, covering the south of England to help cement and further develop the firm’s presence in the region through strong relationships with both merchant stockists and installers.

Permaroof, which has its head office in Alfreton, Derbyshire, has grown rapidly since it started trading as a family business in 1999. Over the past five years, the firm has tripled its turnover organically and, at the start of this year, made its first acquisition, adding the skylight and rooflight supplier, The Skylight Company, to its ranks.

Permaroof, which currently employs more than 32 people across the country, is also looking to fill an additional four sales roles for the south east, as well as internal sales positions, by the end of October.
