Prater has appointed Stuart Whiting as technical director to its board. As of June 2016, Mr Whiting will continue to be responsible for all of the design and technical functions of the business, including driving the further development of Prater’s in-house digital engineering and technical engineering teams.
Having gained more than a decade of experience in the industry, Mr Whiting joined Prater in January 2011 as general manager to set-up the company’s Solar PV division and in 20112 became pre-contracts manager, taking responsibility for leading major project bids.
Since January 2015, Mr Whiting has held the position of associate director – design & technical, taking over the role from Gavin Hamblett who was appointed managing director.
As a member of the board, he will continue to oversee the delivery of all design and technical activities, developing and growing the company’s capabilities to maintain Prater’s position in the integrated roofing, cladding, glazing and façade projects market.
