Rapid growth plans for 2017

Proteus Waterproofing has unveiled major new plans for expansion across the UK throughout 2017, starting with two new appointments.

Russell Parkin has taken on the role of the company’s Midlands and North technical services support manager and David Tomlinson has joined as technical sales manager.

They will be responsible for an area between Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds down to Birmingham, selling and supporting the full Proteus range of liquid waterproofing membranes, built up felt systems and insulation products.

Russell, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry – 25 of those in the roofing sector – will be particularly concentrating on the Proteus Cold Melt range which is helping to revolutionise the roofing industry in the UK.

David, who also has more than 30 years’ experience in the roofing industry, will be working with and helping to develop the growing team of Proteus licensed contractors in addition to building sales in the Midlands and the North.

Justin Pitman, sales director for Proteus, commented: “Proteus Waterproofing has had an incredible three years of success, and we now have exciting plans to take our top selling range of products and systems across the rest of the country.

“Russell and David both have extensive experience in our industry and will be major assets to our company as we increase our market share and expand into other parts of the UK over the next few months.”

As well as strengthening its sales force, Proteus Waterproofing, based in Rayleigh, Essex, is also making plans to introduce new products and systems in 2017.
