Prater has announced that Gavin Hamblett will be appointed managing director from January 1 2015. He will take the place of Richard Unwin, who will concentrate on his role as chief executive at Lindner UK, where he will be joined by newly appointed Lindner UK group director, Andrew Newman.
Gavin Hamblett is currently acting as pre-construction director at Prater and has a wealth of experience in the construction industry, having joined Prater from Coverite in 2006 following the company’s partial takeover of the Coverite business.
Mr. Hamblett said:
“I am extremely proud to be taking on the role of managing director. Prater is well positioned for 2015 and beyond with a healthy order book and a diverse range of projects and disciplines. I am looking forward to working with my teams to successfully deliver all of our projects and provide clients with a first class standard of service.”
Prater has also announced that Andrew Newman, who has been with the company for 30 years, will be leaving his role as Business Development Director to fulfil that of Group Director for Lindner UK
