The Lakesmere Group has appointed Louise Cookson to the role of group compliance manager for its UK operations as part of a move to continue its expansion and commitment to health and safety.
The new senior role has been created to strengthen Lakesmere’s existing SHEQ (safety, health, environmental and quality) management team. Ms. Cookson brings with her over eight years of experience as a compliance manager working across a range of industries and will be responsible for managing Lakesmere’s health and safety, quality and environmental procedures, as well as minimising the company’s environmental impacts and ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the construction programme. Working with Lakesmere’s existing health and safety advisors and quality assurance team, Louise will also be responsible for ensuring Lakesmere continues to meet the requirements of regulatory, legislatory and ISO standards.
Lakesmere says it will also look to make further investment in its SHEQ department and available resources in the coming months as it continues to expand both its workforce and client base.
