WestWood Liquid Technologies has appointed Lewis Jenkins as regional manager for the Midlands as the firm continues its growth strategy.
A qualified architectural technologist, Lewis brings both technical and commercial expertise to WestWood. After gaining on-site experience with an architectural practice, he moved into the roofing industry 12 years ago. Since then, he has held technical advisory, sales and specification roles, gaining expertise working for three waterproofing specialists.
Lewis will now use his skills to strengthen WestWood’s project pipeline across the Midlands, including Birmingham and the surrounding cities. Working directly with specifiers, he will be responsible for providing technical advice, condition survey reports and specifications.
Speaking about his appointment, Lewis said: “With a technical background, I’m looking forward to going out on site and advising specifiers on how WestWood’s products can make their project a success. A key part of my role is inspecting and testing, ensuring an accurate specification can be prepared for potential new customers.
“As a region that WestWood hasn’t proactively targeted yet, there is huge potential for growth in the Midlands across both the private and public sectors. As well as offering high-quality products, WestWood’s level of service at all project stages sets us apart, so I’m confident that I can quickly grow our presence.”
Gary Hemmings, managing director of WestWood, added: “Lewis’ appointment is a key part of our growth strategy which aims to strengthen our pipeline of work across the UK. As more specifiers recognise the benefits of PMMA liquid technology, we want to be front of mind for refurbishment and new build projects spanning a range of applications, including roofs, balconies, stairways and car parks.
“With extensive technical knowledge and commercial acumen, Lewis has a strong skill set and is a great fit for our growing team. We look forward to watching him succeed and build his career at WestWood.”
