With less than a week to go until the deadline closes for entries, there is still time to enter the BMI Apprentice of the Year 2021 competition.

October 1 is the final deadline for the competition, which is divided into two categories – one for pitched roofing and one for flat. Those who are experienced in both fields can enter both to improve their chances of making the shortlist.

The competition is open to all who are recognised as an apprentice by their employer, or those who are working towards qualified status. It seeks to identify the industry’s apprentices with the greatest potential and acknowledge their promise, commitment and ability.

The two-day final is set to take place at the BMI Academy near Cirencester on 17-18 November, with the winners being announced at a gala dinner on the last evening.
