The National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) will deliver a traditional roof slating demonstration as part of the Forth Valley Traditional Building Forum, held in the Scottish town of Callander.

NFRC Scottish trade member Rooftec (Scotland) will represent the 120-year-old roofing association at the event on September 17 using slates from NFRC supplier member, Welsh Slate.

The demonstration is part of the event which has been designed to offer residents and members of the public the opportunity to see traditional building skills in action and get some hands-on experience.
